It is with great pleasure and eagerness that I introduce myself as I look forward to a new year at Dr. Probe. I have been teaching for the past fourteen years with Lethbridge District 51. I have been a High School Teacher, Grade 3 Teacher, Early Literacy Coach and for 8 years I taught Grade 2 at Mike Mountain Horse Elementary School in Lethbridge. Several years ago I took a years leave of absence and taught grade 5 in Hanna, Alberta and loved the experience. After returning to Lethbridge, I had my first year at Dr. Probe in Grade 1 and it was a wonderful year with amazing teachers and students. In 2015, I was accepted to pursue my Masters in Education at the University of Lethbridge and in 2017, I graduated with a Masters in Educational Leadership.
My partner in life is an administrator in our school district and in January of 2017 we welcomed our daughter, Hazel to the world and in January 2019 we welcomed our second daughter, Poppy. Bob and I love our role as parents, and feel such pride and gratitude for our daughters.
My classroom is a place where learning and respecting one another is of upmost importance. I love to laugh, learn and grow with my students and am excited to meet and get to know you all. Building relationships with my students, the families in our school community, and my colleagues has always been a huge priority for me, making Dr. Probe an awesome fit as our school values the same important things.
I look forward to a great year of learning and growing with you all. Sincerely,
